Freelance Floral Designers

About You:

The immediate position is for experienced freelance floral designers. We pay commensurate with experience and ability, which will be between $22-$35/hr, with pay increases from there if you are really good and really fast!

You must have floral design experience. Even better if you have setup experience as well.

You must have a Driver’s License and be able to drive a uhaul/cargo van if necessary.

This job is mostly on your feet, and requires some lifting, like heavy buckets of water and boxes of packed vases, so being able to lift 50 lbs is necessary.

About Us:

We use majority local flowers with no pesticides and are foam free, because we care about our health, your health, the health of the planet, and the health of the farm and factory workers who make our product. We have best friend forever relationships with several of our local farmers who provide the majority of our product. From there we source regionally, or minimally from California if a client needs a specialty item.

We are a worker’s cooperative. The positions are for freelance at this time, but there is potential for Designers to become worker-owners in the future. That means a say in some of the business decisions, especially things that effect you as a worker, and a cut of the profits at the end of each year, on top of your hourly pay. Ask us about this in your interview if you are interested in hearing more!

Our service areas are mainly in Northern and Central NJ, the Hudson Valley. and the Catskills region. We also do weddings in NYC, Connecticut or other areas of upstate NY.
